bSI Use Case Management Service (UCMS)

The Use Case Management Service of buildingSMART international enables the capture, specification and exchange of best practices and makes them accessible to the entire built asset industry. Throughout the entire process of design, construction and operation, the information exchange requirement must be defined for each BIM use case. Based on the Information Delivery Manual (IDM) methodology developed by buildingSMART, the operational processes and, as a result, the information exchange requirements are described. The exact definition of the information flow between the respective project participants enables collaborative work and the efficient and error-free exchange of data.

Engagement

Engage yourself on the Use Case Management Service? By doing so, you contribute to a better understanding of the BIM methodology, to the faster provision of Information Delivery Manuals (IDM) and to the overall improvement of BIM projects. The Use Case Management Service allows all members of buildingSMART as well as companies and associations to collaboratively develop their projects in a co-creation space and then publish them on the UCM website.

Die Ökobilanz (LCA) misst die Umweltauswirkungen des Gebäudes. Jeder Baustoff und jedes Bauwerk erzeugt im Laufe seines Lebensweges durch Herstellung, Transport, Nutzung und Beseitigung eine Vielzahl an Stoff- und Energieströmen. Das hat konkrete Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt. Mit Hilfe von Ökobilanzen, auch Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) bezeichnet, werden diese Vorgänge quantiﬁziert. Somit ist es möglich, verschiedene Prozesse miteinander zu vergleichen und zu analysieren. So helfen Ökobilanzen z.B. auch bei der Optimierung von Produktionsketten, jedoch vor allem bei der Schonung von Ressourcen. Ökobilanzen sind nach der EN ISO 14040 standardisiert und gliedern sich in vier Schritte: der Zieldeﬁnition, der Sachbilanz, der Wirkungsabschätzung und der Auswertung. Es wird ein in den Bauablauf integrierter Prozess zur asBuilt-Dokumentation des gebauten Standes gezeigt, welcher baufortschrittsgemäß in die digitalen Modelle der PlanerAN einfließt. Dies dient zur Verifikation der Ausführung, auf die Einhaltung der Vorgaben und als Grundlage für die Abrechnung der BauAN. Hierzu sind Strategien zur sinnvollen Durchführung der Aufnahme der Baudurchführung z.B. der Abgleich der Ergebnisse aus Laserscans mit den Modelldaten, sowie zur organisatorischen Durchführung dieser Schritte im Kontext einer Bauabwicklung zu entwickeln. Der Use Case stellt den Datenfluss für eine Druckverlustberechnung einer Lüftungsanlage dar. Der Use Case unterstützt den Facility Manager und Planer bei der Aufgabe, die geplante Ventilatorleistung sowie die zu erwartende Änderung im Jahresstrombedarf abzuschätzen. .ifc-Daten aus der Planung zu Lüftungskomponenten werden aus einem CAD-Programm in eine BIM-Software (SIMULTAN) eingelesen. Die Komponenten werden mit ihren erforderlichen Parametern in der Software abgebildet. In einem Plugin der Software wird eine Druckverlustberechnung für den Anlagenzustand vor und nach der Umbaumaßnahme durchgeführt. Die Überprüfung erlaubt die Entscheidung, ob eine Überarbeitung der Planung erforderlich ist oder eine Freigabe erfolgen soll. Mit Variantenbildungen kann eine Energieoptimierung (Leistung, Bedarf) durchgeführt werden. The use case openBIM building permit procedure of the City of Vienna describes the information requirements for the openBIM submission to the City of Vienna. This information exchange requirement applies to the builder's architectural model - hereinafter referred to as the building application model (BAM) - which is used in the course of the pilot operation for the openBIM construction process of the City of Vienna Building Police. Der Use Case openBIM-Bauverfahren der Stadt Wien beschreibt die Informationsanforderungen für die openBIM Einreichung bei der Stadt Wien. Die vorliegende Informationsanforderung gilt für das bauerwerberseitige Architektur-Fachmodell – in Folge Bauantragsmodell (BAM) genannt – das im Zuge des Pilotbetriebes für openBIM Bauverfahren der Stadt Wien-Baupolizei verwendet wird.
